Olivia Alexander (born Olivia Usey; May 17, 1988) is an American actress, singer, dancer, designer, and entrepreneur. An actress who first fell into her screen niche playing beautiful and voluptuous characters, Olivia Alexander is a dynamic triple threat, dancer, singer and producer, whose one-of-a-kind style has garnered her attention in all areas of the media. Alexander has appeared in commercials, music videos, feature films and has even starred, produced, and created her own reality show: LOVE SCOUTS(Oxygen).

Olivia Alexander is the founder and owner of The Crystal Cult, which sells women’s fashion vape[1] and luxury cannabis accessories.The Crystal Cult [1] has appeared in Cosmopolitan (magazine), LIVE! With Michael and Kelley, The New York Times, Jezebel, MTV.com and numerous blogs and websites. Celebrity cult members include: Miley Cyrus, Jessie J, and Sophia Richie. Off the success of The Crystal Cult, in 2015 Alexander launched a number of ventures including YouTube channel BuddFeed and Cult Creative digital agency. Cult Creative remains one of the largest independent social media publishers in cannabis. They maintain well over 1 million active cannabis targeted followers on Instagram [2] and represents industry heavyweights Bhang Chocolate, Northern Emeralds, and cannabis legend Sailene Ossman.

Early life[edit]

Olivia Alexander was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana as Olivia Usey.[3] As early as age two, she was working as a child print model and commercial actress. After being discovered by a talent agent at a beauty pageant when she was six, Olivia began auditioning in Los Angeles without success. Returning to Los Angeles at the age of thirteen, she eventually appeared in music videos for the Jonas Brothers, Steve Holy, and Jermaine Dupri.[4]

She attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she studied Communications.

Acting career[edit]

She has played lead roles in Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader and 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity With the Devil Inside the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Four songs from her debut EP ‘Its On’[5] were featured in Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader, including the title track ‘Attack Attack’.[6]

In 2011, Alexander starred in her own pilot, Love Scouts, for the Oxygen network.[7] In 2007, she appeared on MTV Punk’d,[8] Spike TV’s Wild World of Spike, and was a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance.[9] She portrayed Brooke in the Horror film Old 37, in which she co-starred Mindy White, Bill Moseley and Kane Hodder.[10]

Fashion career[edit]

In June 2012, Crystal Cult founder Olivia Alexander posted a picture on her Instagram of a blinged-out vaporizer she made herself. It caused such a stir that, in just seven days, she decided to build a website and start the business that’s still operating and thriving today.[1]
