Guess who went to Arizona for Tyler Clippard.  Why, not other than

Vincente Camos.  You ask why is Jose superimposed on the photo?  Well he was Jose.  And we all know how players who change their names, do.  The Genius traded Joe Montero (more or less nothing) for Pineda and Campos.  So what’s the problem, EDB?  Just another example of how little The Genius does when acquiring pitchers.  Ben Heller, will move to Scranton Wilksberre, along with Clint Frazier.  Frazier likes the
The Longer Hair/Beard look.  The Yankees should change their policy.  Maybe we have here a Sampson complex.  Look at these slumps:
Maybe a beard, they certainly cannot grow any hair, might help their game.
Loser Hal ooh and ahded regarding The Miller trade.  It is now time to release these two pieces of crap:
I cannot watch them anymore.  EDB

The rebuilding begins.  The yankees have traded Andrew Miller

to the Indians for four prospects.  The Yankees get back two number one draft picks:
Clint Frazier, just moved from AA to AAA.
Frazier batted .276 in 341 at bats at AA Akron with 13 Hrs 48 RBIs, 13 SBs, 41 BBs 86 K’s 356 OPS 469 SLG and 825 OPS.  Frazier was just moved to AAA and in just 21 at bats, was hitting .238.  Frazier throws right bats right.  Frazier has speed and can play Center, although he is projected to play right.  He should be with the Yankees the middle of next year.  The Yankees also get  Justus Sheffield.
Sheffield at A+ Lynchburg in 95.1 innings, was 7-5 with a 3.59 E.R.A., 93 K’s 40 BB’s.  Sheffield (no relation to Gary,) has plus stuff.  He is a reliever who may be a starter.   He throws left.  Sheffield was arrested in an off field incident and pleaded guilty.  As a teenager he was arrested for drinking and trespassing he has since cleaned up his act.  The Yankees also get two right handed relievers,

  Ben Heller
At AAA Columbus, Heller in 25.1 innings, Heller has 5 saves, a 2.49 E.R.A., 25 K’s and 7 BB’s.  Heller can hit 98 on the gun. Heller is projected as a 7th inning guy.   Finally, The Yankees get J.P. Frierson.
Frierson hits 93-95 and is projected as a 6th or 7th inning guy.  EDB

The Brewers received

Francisco Mejia continues to hit. The 20-year old switch-hitting catcher improved his 2016 MLB and MilB-best hitting streak to 40 games yesterday with a sixth inning single for the High-A Lynchburg Hillcats.

The Pirates traded reliever Mark Melachon to The Nationals.   Pittsburgh Pirates trade Mark Melancon but aren’t waving white flag – SweetSpot- ESPN <!–

The Yankees offense is so bad, they have scored two runs or less 41 times.  Only The Braves and Mets are worse.  In last nights fiasco to The Rays, Mr. Softee/Smellsbury hit a ground ball for a double play, with a runner on base in the eighth inning.  Because The Ray’s catcher interfered with Ellsbury reached first base and the runner on first moved to second.  Up stepped Carlos Beltran, who proceeded to ground into an inning ending double play.  EDB

Outfielder Matt Kemp was traded to the Braves for outfielder Hector Olivera and cash.  Oliveras was then sent to the minors.  The Braves were interested in bringing back Brian McCan’t.  This lessens the chances.

The Marlins acquired right-handers Andrew Cashner and Colin Rea and Tayron Guerrero. In exchange, the Padres received right-hander Jarred Cosart, injured reliever Carter Capps, who underwent Tommy John earlier this year, minor league prospect first baseman Josh Naylor and pitcher Luis Castillo.

The Indians have agreed to a trade with The Brewers for Johnathan Lucroy.  The Brewers will get several prospects.
